Qualified Pre-Trained (Academy Graduated) Candidates Wanted!
This position is for candidates who have graduated from the Police Academy but are not currently working as a Police Officer.
Applications will be accepted on a CONTINUOUS BASIS. Interested individuals are strongly encouraged to apply early! This recruitment is open until filled and may close at any time without notice.
Successful Lateral Candidates will be paid the signing bonus in three installments:
1. $4,000 will be paid on the first paycheck following the employee’s date of hire.
2. $4,000 will be paid after the successful completion of a Field Training Program and 18-Month Probationary Period.
3. $4,000 will be paid at the completion of the employee's second year of service as a Police Officer.
