Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications for multiple Full–Time/Limited Term Custodian I positions. The vacancies exist in our General Services Department, which is under the direct supervision of the Hospital General Services Administrator II. The position will be assigned to the A.M shift depending on operational needs of the hospital. A.M. shift works Wednesday through Sunday 5:00am – 1:30 pm. All Limited Term Custodians are required to work on Holidays that fall on their work week
The incumbent performs a wide range of custodial duties involved in the environmental care, cleaning, and maintenance of the hospital which includes, but not limited to maintaining a clean and orderly work area, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying of trash receptacles, disinfects and clean patient rooms as well as restrooms, detailing showers, refilling supplies, stripping, waxing floors, and operating various housekeeping equipment.
