The Chino Police Department is seeking highly motivated, service-oriented individuals to join our team. As a Police Academy Trainee, you'll begin your career with a department dedicated to excellence, teamwork, and providing exceptional public safety services to those who live, work, and play in the City of Chino.Career Advancement: Police Academy Trainees who successfully complete a California POST-certified Police Basic Training Academy and satisfy all departmental requirements will be promoted to the classification of Police Officer and become members of the Chino Police Officers Association (CPOA). Upon promotion, they will serve a probationary period and be granted full peace officer authority.
$8,333.75 - $10,128.00 Monthly

Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential job duties of the position is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Licenses/Certifications:
Possess a valid California Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
Proof of current academy enrollment or a valid POST Police Basic Training Academy Certificate must be submitted with the application.
