We are looking for an experienced and professional Armed Residential Security Agent to provide security for private residences in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves safeguarding residents, guests, and properties through proactive patrolling, monitoring, and access control. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in armed security and the ability to quickly and effectively respond to potential threats. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to high-profile residential environments are essential.

Schedules for Armed Residential Security Agents will depend on client needs and may include:

• Day Shifts: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, typically aligned with resident schedules.
• Evening & Night Shifts: For additional security during later hours.
• Overnight Shifts: For 24-hour protection or long-term residential assignments.
• On-Call/Reserve: Available for urgent or last-minute assignments.
• Weekend and Holiday Work: Some clients may require coverage during weekends, holidays, or special events.

As an Armed Residential Security Agent, you will:

• Maintain a visible, professional armed presence at luxury residential properties.
• Patrol and monitor the premises to detect and address security threats, unauthorized access, or safety concerns.
• Control access to the property, ensuring all personnel and visitors adhere to security protocols.
• Respond swiftly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies, following established procedures.
• Conduct threat assessments and develop security measures tailored to the residential environment.
• Provide secure transportation for residents and guests when required.
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and on-site personnel to maintain seamless security operations.
• Prepare detailed reports on security activities, incidents, and any notable occurrences.
• Assist in planning and implementing security measures for events or special occasions at residential properties.

To qualify for the position of Armed Residential Security Agent, candidates must have:

• 5+ years of military experience (honorable discharge), law enforcement, or equivalent armed security experience in the private sector.
• BSIS Guard Card (or equivalent state license).
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to patrol and respond to incidents.
• Excellent situational awareness and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, residents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-profile residential setting.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Proficiency in armed security operations, defensive tactics, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
• Familiarity with security technologies, physical security measures, and risk assessment strategies.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality when working in sensitive environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant for extended periods.
• Knowledge of secure transportation procedures is a plus.
