We are seeking a highly trained and professional Unarmed Residential Security Officer to provide unarmed security services for residential properties in Palo Alto, CA. Schedules for Unarmed Residential Security Officers will vary based on the specific assignment and client needs. Potential shifts may include:

• Day Shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours, typically aligned with business hours or client requests.
• Evening & Night Shifts: For coverage that extends into later hours or overnight protection.
• Overnight Shifts: Required for 24-hour security coverage or long-term assignments.
• On-Call/Reserve: You may be placed on an on-call roster for urgent security needs or last-minute assignments.
• Weekend and Holiday Work: Certain roles may require coverage during weekends, holidays, or high-traffic periods.

As an Unarmed Residential Security Officer, you will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence at residential properties in Palo Alto, CA.
• Monitor and patrol premises to detect potential threats, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
• Control access to the residential property and ensure all personnel and visitors follow security protocols.
• Respond to security incidents swiftly and effectively, following established procedures.
• Communicate with team members, residents, and on-site personnel to ensure seamless security operations.

To be considered for the Unarmed Residential Security Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• 5+ years of military experience with an honorable discharge.
• BSIS Guard Card (or equivalent state license for unarmed security).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods, perform patrols, and respond to incidents swiftly.
• Excellent situational awareness and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and the public.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in residential environments.
• CPR certification is preferred but not required.
