The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

Job Overview:The Security Professional will follow the directives of the Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Lead. As a Security Professional you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client'sproperty and personnel and will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

This position does not receive medical benefits. Instead, they are given PILOBEN (Pay in lou of benefits) so they can purchase them on their own if they choose. This is an additional $4.98/hr for the first 40 hours of each week on top of the $21.50/hr rate. 

Hourly starting wage: $21.00

Responsibilities and Duties• Must have the ability to make tough decisions quickly and   efficiently in emergency situations• Strong Written and Oral communication skills• Availability to answer calls and solve issues during their shift.• Ability to understand Prosegur policies and procedures• Always wear appropriate and professional uniform attire while   on duty.• Maintain security policies and procedures throughout all shifts   and circumstances• Ability to exercise emotional control, judgment, and objectivity.• Attention to detail, achievement orientation, positive attitude   and self-motivation skills to be able to be proactive, take   initiative and achieve results.

Qualifications:

•  High school diploma or equivalent• Must have an active Guard Card• Valid Drivers License with no restrictions• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to abackground investigation in accordance with all federal, state,and local laws.• Must have a good working knowledge of security operationsand safety practices.• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's),to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance, towrite necessary incident reports, investigate incidents andmake independent good judgment decisions within properpolicy procedure.• Encourage teamwork, cooperation, and remain calm
