Tour Description
Counterdrug Task Force System Administrator provides technical support Task Force wide. Systems include, but
are not limited to: Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), Mobile
Devices (Tablets, Cradle Points, MiFis, and Smart Phones). The selected SM will serve as the Power Platform
subject-matter expert, developing and maintaining products including PowerBI and PowerApps. Additionally,
responsibilities include installing printers and applications, troubleshooting Audio/Visual systems and VoIP
phones, and on occasion, assist with site visits throughout CA. The selected SM reports directly to the Senior
System Admin. This position requires that SMs maintain administrative credentials on the California Army
National Guard Network.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• Secret Clearance
• Satisfactory LEA background check with no adverse actions or derogatory comments
• Ability to obtain a Government Travel Card (GTC), if in possession of a GTC SM must be in good standing
• For Army applicants passing ACFT within 12 months of application date; For Air Force Applicants passing
Physical Fitness Test within 12 months of application date
• Must have no documented instances of conduct adversely reflecting on their character, honesty or integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Two years’ experience working and troubleshooting networks and servers
• Experience managing IT projects
• Experience developing web applications
• Experience developing and managing SharePoint, Power Automate flows, Power Apps, MS Teams
• Experience configuring and managing mobile devices with any mobile device management solution
• Experience in customer service in a technical environment
• Experience in database management

It was formed to provide California with a trained and organized force in the event of a state emergency.
