Working in the distribution center and retail store environments, the Asset Protection Associate will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the company premises and personnel, interior and exterior of the assigned location, and, as needed, supporting asset protection needs of the retail locations supported by the assigned distribution center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property
Prevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstances
Confronts violators of policy and procedures in a professional manner to redirect behavior
Inspects buildings and access points
Assists Supervisor in restraining trespassers or other violators
Manages vehicular traffic by directing drivers
Maintains authorized DC truck yard traffic utilizing company tools and procedures
Supports investigations, conducting surveillances and gathering of facts
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Maintains organization's stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirements
Contributes to Inventory/Asset Protection team effort by accomplishing results as needed
Promotes awareness of company policies, procedures and directives
Submits new and innovative ideas to enhance job functions and company best practices
Provide assistance across business groups as needed
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two or more years of related security experience. Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures. Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. Report Writing experience is preferred.
The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI’s.
