Crate Builder / Packaging Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for building custom crates and pallets, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring all packaging meets quality and safety standards.
Shift - M-F 7AM TO 3: 30PMKey Responsibilities
- Build custom crates and pallets based on order specifications
- Interpret order pick lists to determine items for shipment
- Perform quality control checks to ensure items are packaged correctly and securely
- Weigh and label packages accurately for shipping
- Inspect packages to ensure they are free from damage
- Inspect shipping containers to ensure compliance with shipping regulations
- Assemble and prepare daily orders for shipment based on location and shipping requirements
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate' s degree or equivalent experience preferred)
- 3- 5 years of experience building custom crates and pallets
- 3- 5 years of experience in packaging and shipping operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
