As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Hazard Reporting in Menlo Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a healthcare and life sciences location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and common spaces, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and reporting access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and promptly report hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
