As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Customer Service Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier luxury retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for guests and team members while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Thur 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Fri 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Sat 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Sun 11:00 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
