As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Compliance in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive visitor experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
