As a Security Officer for Gated Community in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting unauthorized access or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
