As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Equipment Readiness in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and communications-focused healthcare services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management while maintaining a professional and service-oriented presence.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Prepare clear activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
