As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Public Interaction in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned property areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
