As a Security Officer Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct highly visible foot and bicycle patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial properties, including building interiors, exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence in a commercial real estate environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
