What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor sign-in processes, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
