As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Entry Assistance in SUN VALLEY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
- Document patrols, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
