As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems Administrator in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for entry and exit.
- Monitor and document the movement of personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and shipments at access points, following established site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
