As a Security Officer Full Time Residential Access in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control, verify visitors and credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor records, and direct guests and service providers in accordance with community requirements.
- Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community entry points, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and/or access-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
