What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial office location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
- Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
- Assist with tenant and visitor inquiries, receive deliveries as directed, and maintain clear communication with building management and Allied Universal leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
