What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
- Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, answering questions, and maintaining professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
