As a Security Officer Unarmed Overnight Vehicle Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and communicate professionally while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property concerns, maintenance hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
