As a Security Officer Morning Retail Center Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a premier commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use strong communication skills while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading zones, and the surrounding property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related observations for property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
