As a Security Officer Residential Full Time Access Control Driver in La Jolla, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage visitor and resident access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide professional customer service. You will help maintain a welcoming environment while supporting security-related operations, communicating clearly with residents and guests, and helping to deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor access as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle activity records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, or policy violations.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, answering routine questions, and maintaining a professional presence at the assigned location.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
