Key Responsibilities
- Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verify employee or visitor badges, and clear delivery trucks.
- Patrols: Conduct routine and random physical checks of the warehouse floor, perimeters, and restricted storage zones.
- Incident Response: Respond to security alarms, safety hazards, or unauthorized entry attempts.
- Documentation: Log daily visitor traffic, write detailed incident reports, and report equipment or maintenance issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Age & Education: High school diploma or GED; usually 18+ for unarmed positions and 21+ for armed or driving posts.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and fingerprinting for security clearance verification.
