Retail Security Officer (On-Call), Alameda, Ca

Primary Purpose and Function:

Provide uniformed advanced security services at our commercial facility, while providing exceptional customer service.

This is a retail position.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Remain alert and vigilant at all times
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Respond quickly and correctly to security incidents
• Observe and report
• Calling for assistance
• Checking and monitoring client's facilities
• Maintain electronic logs per company policy

Knowledge and skills:

• Ability to demonstrate strong customer service tendencies
• Ability to demonstrate strong authority and leadership skills
• Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Proven oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail is a must
• Reliable transportation
• High School Diploma of GED
• California Guard Card and Baton License issued by BSIS ****REQUIRED***
• OC pepper spray certification ****REQUIRED*****
• Capacity to learn and retain multiple evolving forms of advanced technology-based applications.

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to work all shifts and weekends/holidays
