Job Description – Access Control Technician (Brivo Systems)
Triton Global Services, a leading full-service security firm, is currently seeking an experienced LowVoltage Access Control Technician to join our growing team. Based out of our Ontario, California office, this position plays a vital role in our Low Voltage Integration Division, supporting Triton’s expanding access control operations across California and the western U.S.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in access control system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, with specific experience working with Brivo access control systems. This role requires professionalism, technical precision, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for access control systems
- Install, configure, and service Brivo and other access control systems, including controllers, readers, locks, and power supplies
- Program access control panels, configure user permissions, and integrate with video systems where applicable
- Interpret and execute electrical and architectural drawings for system layout and wiring
- Mount and connect system enclosures, panels, readers, and associated hardware
- Work with network configurations, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and verification to ensure full operational functionality
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation progress and configuration settings
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, providing detailed daily updates on job status
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Triton professionally on all job sites
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience installing or servicing Access Control Systems (Brivo experience strongly preferred)
- Experience with low voltage systems, including wiring and termination standards (Cat6, RS-485, etc.)
- Familiarity with door hardware integration, including strikes, mag locks, and request-to-exit devices
- Basic knowledge of network configurations, switches, and PoE devices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $28.00 (DOE)
Preferred Experience:
- Brivo Access Control: 1+ year (required or preferred depending on applicant pool)
- Structured Cabling / Low Voltage Wiring: 2+ years (required)
- Video Surveillance Systems: 1+ year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Lift Certification (preferred)
Hiring Process:
- Step One: Oral Interview
- Step Two: Practical Exercise demonstrating access control wiring, controller setup, and software configuration

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts (Monday – Friday)
- Occasional overtime or travel as required for project schedules

- Additional technical training or certifications (preferred)
