LOCATION: Various sites in and around Los Angeles, California

We are looking for highly skilled Armed Security Officers to fill multiple positions, including Executive Protection for elite clients, Estate Protection, and High-End Retail Security. The majority of assignments are based in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills areas, requiring professionalism, discretion, and a strong security presence.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with the flexibility to start part-time and transition to full-time. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, including overnight assignments. Officers in these roles will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by deterring criminal activity, closely monitoring their surroundings, and identifying potential threats. A key aspect of the job involves observing and accurately reporting any suspicious behavior in a timely manner.

Candidates with prior experience in military, law enforcement, or private security are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent situational awareness, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations. Professionalism and discretion are essential, especially when working in high-profile environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•     Remain alert and aware of surroundings

•     Act as an authoritative figure capable of deterrence

•     Recognize potential threats and take steps to mitigate them

•     Report suspicious activity or unsafe conditions to the authorities and/or designated on-site contact

•     Maintain familiarity with site-specific operations and post orders

•     Exercise good judgement regarding the use of force

•     Contact local law enforcement or fire department in the event of an emergency

•     Reasonably detain persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives

•     Perform other site-specific duties as required by client (i.e., monitor surveillance cameras, control access to property, escort client to and from property, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•     Possesses excellent observational skills and pays attention to detail

•     Exercises discretion, is able to maintain confidentiality, and is respectful of clients’ privacy

•     Able to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations

•     Comfortable using authoritative verbal communication skills

•     Able to prepare written reports, read and understand written operating procedures and post orders

•     Professional, articulate, and uses good judgement

•     Well versed in technology and the use of mobile applications

•     Has reliable transportation and can report to varied locations on time

•     Maintains a well-groomed appearance and professional dress in accordance with uniform guidelines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

•     Capable of prolonged periods of standing

•     Able to stay awake, alert, and responsive when on shift 

•     Able to and access areas of concern quickly

•     Able to detain individuals

•     Able to lift 50 pounds at a time

MINIMUM CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have the following credentials

•     Must have a BSIS issued Guard Card and 40 hours of training in accordance with BSIS guidelines

•     Must have valid BSIS Exposed Weapon Permit

•     Must complete bi-annual BSIS Firearm Qualifications and provide proof of completion

•     Must have a CCW license (Standard CCW, or LEO ID stating CCW approved)

PAYSCALE:

$30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
