This assignment involves a perceptive understanding of state and federal regulations, as well as local government requirements in relation to declared emergencies and recovery programs. ESC will be part of a team of field Coordinators with the Regional Operations Coastal Branch, and they must be able to work independently as well as be a contributing team member.
Under direction, the ESC functions in a demanding and changing environment, which requires to act with great independence while effectively maintaining a routine workload and regularly responding to short term tasks. Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and functions effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing and changing priorities and must be able to respond to all forms of disasters and emergencies, at any hour anywhere in the state, within short time frames. Required to meet regulatory and internal deadlines on all assignments.

Working Conditions
Hybrid Telework: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Additional in office days may be required based on the business need.
DMV Pull Program: Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required. The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver’s License (DL). You must answer the questions addressing your DL on your application. Ensure you provide your DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
