Summit Anaheim currently has an open position for Environment Tech (1st shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

Position Summary: 

Responsible for running, monitoring, and plumbing the Waste Water Treatment (WWT) system and conduct preventative maintenance.  Performs daily laboratory analysis for copper conc. Organizes and ships out hazardous waste.

Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance to company policies, systems, and procedures.
2. Organize and prioritize work and schedule time to accommodate work demands, turn-around time, and company commitments.
3. Maximize productivity.
4. Daily running and monitoring of the waste water treatment system.
5. Daily preventive maintenance of WWT system.
6. Grab samples of IX sensing systems and discharge frequently.
7. Perform daily laboratory analysis for copper conc.
8. Batch treatment, when needed.
9. Organize virgin chemistry and store them in proper location.
10. Organize and ship hazardous waste
11. Plumbing in the WWT system as well in the production floor.
12. Setting up to get composite samples.

Authorities:

1. To be instrumental in the training of new personnel.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
2. Must be able to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
3. Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
