Classification: MANAGER V, DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
Under the direction of the Assistant Division Chief/Program Manager (ADC/PM), the Manager V is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the section. The Manager V, through subordinate managers, Ensures the section supports the department's identification card (ID) and non-commercial driver licensing (DL) programs including pre and post licensing programs such as legal presence, driver licensing actions, financial responsibility, and driver safety program areas.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions
Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.
Works on the third floor of an office building, in a large, partially partitioned cubicle under artificial light. Frequently exposed to basic office equipment (computers/screens, telephones, fax machines, printers, photocopiers, etc.) Frequently uses a personal computer and telephone to research and respond to inquiries, time sensitive demands, and shifting priorities. Teleworking options may be available.
