ANALYST I (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) – ORANGE COAST DISTRICT / NORTH SECTOR / BOLSA CHICA STATE BEACH
The reporting location is Bolsa Chica State Beach Headquarters. This position will work under the supervision of the State Park Superintendent III.
The Analyst I Court Liaison primary duties include maintaining records of public safety reports and citations written by State Parks Peace Officers and other staff, submit and file misdemeanor and felony cases with the District Attorney's Office, file original reports and copies of citation in respective locations, travel to court weekly to process citations with the court system, maintain subpoena records and distribute to Officers, file and update subpoena calendar when needed, answer incoming telephone calls and handle requests for information after obtaining a supervisor's permission to release copies of the original report, report public safety statistics to the District Coordinator, scan, email and file signed complaint forms and court dispositions to their respective officers, coordinate returned citations and reports, complete warrant declarations and discovery requests from the District Attorney’s Office, liaise with the court regarding any outstanding matters or questions, maintain monthly crime stats, handle any day-to-day Court Liaison matters and questions. Must be able to communicate effectively with personnel and the public in person and on the telephone, perform variety of clerical skills, create a working relationship with the public and staff, and maintain accurate records. This position is designated as not telework eligible. This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year.
