As a Security Officer Full Time Aerospace Access Control in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, authorized visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report access irregularities, unauthorized entry attempts, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
