Job Summary

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor manages the daily, front-line execution of Marvell’s security operations. While management sets the strategy, the Supervisor ensures disciplined delivery across all shifts. In this role, you will enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), drive an action-oriented response culture, and coach analysts to deliver clear, intelligence-led decisions during incidents.

Duties/Responsibilities

Shift Management & Incident Command

• Operational Consistency: Maintain high performance across all shifts through strict SOP adherence, proper staffing, and smooth shift handoffs.
• Incident Lead: Serve as the incident commander during major events. Coordinate internal and external partners to ensure a structured, organized response.
• System Oversight: Ensure the team effectively uses video management, access control, and threat intelligence platforms to catch issues early and minimize false alarms.
• Compliance & Logs: Enforce accurate logging, strict documentation standards, and privacy compliance for all shift records.

Incident Handling & Communication

• Actionable Reporting: Ensure the team never sends simple "FYI alerts." Every escalation must include clear business impact, urgency levels, and recommended actions.
• Leadership Updates: Review and refine communications to management so leadership receives clear, concise updates that speed up decision-making.

Team Training & Culture

• Daily Coaching: Develop analyst skills through real-time feedback during incidents, after-action reviews, and regular training drills.
• Performance Metrics: Hold the team accountable to response, escalation, and resolution timelines to drive continuous improvement.

Fusion Center Support

• Broaden Capabilities: Support the GSOC’s evolution by integrating new risk sectors into daily workflows, including HR risk, travel security, and supply chain protection.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience: 4+ years in a corporate GSOC, emergency services, or security operations environment, with 1–2 years in a supervisor or shift-lead role.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with enterprise physical security systems (VMS, Access Control) and critical event monitoring software.
• Incident Response: Proven ability to stay calm, take command, and guide a team through high-stress situations.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with a track record of translating complex incidents into brief, professional summaries.
• Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7/365 environment, including nights and weekends.

 Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as ASIS CPP/PSP or FEMA Incident Command (ICS).
• Experience working in a corporate Fusion Center model
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain

  complex benefits information in a clear manner.

 Physical Requirements

• Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
• Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
