Substitute Cafeteria Assistant
PURPOSE STATEMENT
The job of Cafeteria Assistant I exists for the purpose/s of preparing and serving food items to students and/or school personnel, as well as maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include working under standardized instructions and/or routines; providing information and/or assisting other persons.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions requires the following physical demands: Significant lifting of up to 50 lbs., carrying, pushing and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling; significant reaching and handling. Generally, the job requires 40% walking and 60% standing. The job is performed under significant temperature variations, a generally hazard free environment, and in a clean atmosphere.
