  • Perform RAMS analysis on projects, products, or systems.
  • Review reliability and maintainability analysis documents.
  • Provide necessary RAMS input to help improve product or system.
  • Develop Reliability Block Diagrams and Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) predictions.
  • Develop MTTR and Availability predictions.
  • Develop RAMS Plans and Reports.
  • Ensure correct estimations of RAMS activities.
  • Perform Safety Hazard Analysis and Assessment.
  • Develop Safety Assessment Reports that include hazard analysis and mitigations.
  • Evaluate design changes to assess impacts.
  • Perform root cause analysis and other technical investigations.
  • Contribute and present during customer design reviews.
  • Collaborate with the other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software) to ensure proper coordination of project, product, and system aspects.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior experience, or 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience, or a Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior RAMS experience is required.
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the DOORS requirements management software.
  • Familiarity with the Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP).
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical design documentation.
