Position Overview As a Physical Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting patrols, monitoring designated areas, enforcing client policies, and responding appropriately to incidents. This position requires excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Minimum Qualifications ● Valid BSIS Guard Card ● Valid BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit or currently in the application process ● Valid driver's license with a clean driving record ● U.S. citizenship ● High school diploma or GED ● Ability to pass employment verification and an extensive background investigation ● Professional appearance and demeanor ● Strong verbal and written communication skills ● Excellent customer service skills ● Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
Essential Responsibilities ● Protect client personnel, property, and assets through a professional security presence ● Conduct interior and exterior patrols of assigned facilities ● Observe, detect, report, and help prevent security incidents ● Monitor doors, gates, windows, and other access points to identify signs of unauthorized entry ● Enforce client and company policies, procedures, and post orders ● Respond appropriately to emergencies and security-related incidents ● Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs ● Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients ● Work closely with fellow security personnel and client representatives to maintain a safe environment Physical Requirements ● Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods ● Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions ● Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions during emergency or high-stress situations ● Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Why Covered 6?
