THE POSITION : The Code Enforcement Officer conducts inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with City codes in areas such as housing, zoning, blight, and environmental issues. Code Enforcement Officer I, (entry-level) performs the more routine and less complex assignments while learning City policies and procedures. Code Enforcement Officer II, (journey-level) is responsible for more complex duties with minimal supervision and assist the entry level in learning basic job tasks.
