Duties THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-7, is to ensure property accountability and provide installation supply assistance and instruction to units and activities within the state. Initiates and recommends unit visits for performance of reconciliations. Assists with and monitors posting as the result of unit reconciliations. Resolves inventory problems and where items may be lost or damaged and is must be able to use judgment as applicable regulations may be ambiguous. Reviews, validates and establishes accountability for mobilizing units and organizations. Prepares state, NGB, DA and DOD directed reports that deal with property accountability and visibility. Performs a wide range of supply actions to accomplish required duties. Uses multiple supply systems and supply data files.
