As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal leadership team.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
