As a Security Officer Full Time Pharmacy Store Front in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and staff, and provide clear communication and exceptional customer service. Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping to support controlled entry to designated areas.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
