As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the distribution location, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery-driver logs.
• Control access for freight carriers and delivery personnel, communicate gate instructions, and help maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian flow at designated entrances.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
