What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to requests for assistance.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership, site management, and/or emergency responders.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
