Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Enterprise Solutions and Strategies Manager, the IT Supervisor II, Solutions Engineering Unit Supervisor, is responsible for monitoring program goals, personnel management and development activities, and provides leadership of the technical specialists performing a wide variety of technical and analytical activities in the Solutions Engineering Unit. The IT Supervisor II supports both steady-state operations and emergency activation, providing technology leadership, coordination, and rapid solution support during incidents and emergencies.
The incumbent plans, provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the agency’s enterprise solutions and digital services portfolio, with primary responsibility for the enterprise-wide Workday platform and other critical Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. Duties include providing direction to the team with a focus on low/no code and solutioning, oversight of complex IT projects, vendor performance, risks, issues, resources, and operational services associated with enterprise applications and digital solutions. The incumbent works collaboratively with business programs, IT leadership, enterprise architecture, security, data, integration teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure enterprise solutions meet business needs, align with agency technology strategy, and comply with applicable state IT policies, standards, and best practices.
As a working supervisor, leads and manages the day-to-day of assigned applications and provides staff leadership, resource planning, mentoring, and performance management while establishing effective governance, service management, security, change management, documentation, and support practices. Through strategic planning, project oversight, operational management, and continuous improvement, the incumbent helps ensure reliable, secure, scalable, and high-value enterprise technology services that support the agency’s current and future business needs.

Working Conditions
Hybrid Telework: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Additional in office days may be required based on the business need.
