As an Armed Security Officer, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout a residential community, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, amenities, and property perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Report maintenance hazards, property damage, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
