As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Residential Homes in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols throughout a residential apartment community, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
