The Job
Land Use Services- Land Development Division is recruiting for an Engineering Technician V-Land Development* to perform advanced technical tasks in the Land Development Division. This position may supervise or assist with field investigations and project tracking with ACCELA and other tools; identifying practical engineering issues; drafting conditions of approval, agreements, standards, bulletins, informational materials, and other documents; preparing technical exhibits and design materials using GIS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft 365; assisting staff with bond estimates and engineering calculations; maintaining reports and correspondence related to Land Development; and coordinating with Code Enforcement, Planning, Building and Safety, and other internal and external agencies.
