Flex Security Officer - Fremont

Position Overview 
Hammer Head Security is looking for dependable and professional  Flex Security Officers  to 
provide security coverage at multiple client locations throughout the Bay Area, including  Oakland, 
San Francisco, San Jose, Milpitas, Fremont, and surrounding communities  . 
Flex Officers help maintain staffing coverage for scheduled absences, vacation coverage, special 
assignments, and other operational needs. Work locations and assignments may vary and can 
include warehouses, logistics facilities, residential communities, commercial properties, and 
corporate sites. 
Site-specific training and post instructions will be provided for each assignment. 
This position is well suited for security professionals who are comfortable working at different 
locations, adapting to changing assignments, and maintaining a professional presence in a variety of 
environments. 
Key Responsibilities 
●  Provide security coverage at assigned client locations. 
●  Work at different sites based on scheduling and operational requirements. 
●  Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as assigned. 
●  Monitor CCTV and other security systems when required. 
●  Perform access control for employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries. 
●  Monitor gates and vehicle and pedestrian traffic. 
●  Inspect buildings, parking areas, warehouses, and other designated areas. 
●  Identify and report security concerns, safety hazards, suspicious activity, and policy 
violations. 
●  Complete Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and other required documentation. 
●  Maintain communication with Dispatch, supervisors, and client representatives. 
●  Follow site-specific post orders, procedures, and emergency protocols. 
●  Provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence. 
●  Perform other security-related duties as assigned. 
Requirements 
●  Valid California Guard Card - Required 
●  Valid California Driver's License - Required 
●  Maintain a clean driving record that meets company insurance requirements. 
●  Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different Bay Area assignments. 
●  Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions. 
●  Strong communication and observation skills. 
●  Basic computer and smartphone proficiency. 
●  Professional appearance and conduct. 
●  Previous security, patrol, access control, warehouse, logistics, or CCTV experience is 
preferred. 
Physical Requirements 
●  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
●  Ability to perform foot patrols and vehicle patrols as assigned. 
●  Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
●  Ability to navigate stairs and large properties when required. 
●  Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. 
●  Ability to remain attentive and focused while performing security duties. 
Schedule 
This is a  flexible coverage position  supporting multiple client locations. 
●  Full-time positions available. 
●  Full-time positions are scheduled for approximately 40 hours per week, subject to business 
and operational needs. 
●  Day, swing, overnight, weekend, and holiday assignments may be available. 
●  Work locations and shift assignments may vary. 
●  Flex Officers should be comfortable traveling to different assigned locations throughout the 
Bay Area. 
●  Security operations may operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
