Installation Analyst II

InfoTech is seeking an experienced Installation Analyst II to support U.S. Navy C4I/C4ISR modernization efforts. This position provides technical installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and shipboard support for mission-critical communications, networking, and combat systems aboard U.S. Navy ships and shore facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
InfoTech is seeking an experienced Installation Analyst II to support U.S. Navy C4I/C4ISR modernization efforts. This position provides technical installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and shipboard support for mission-critical communications, networking, and combat systems aboard U.S. Navy ships and shore facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support shipboard C4I modernization, alteration, and installation projects from planning through Government acceptance.
- Execute equipment installation, rack and cabinet installation, cable routing, hardware integration, and system implementation.
- Install and integrate GFE, communications equipment, servers, workstations, network devices, and associated hardware.
- Interpret engineering drawings, installation diagrams, cable run sheets, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and installation discrepancies.
- Support FAT, SOVT, GAT, ship checks, installation verification, and technical reviews.
- Document deficiencies, installation findings, configuration changes, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Navy installation standards, safety requirements, technical specifications, and approved engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with PMWs, SSAs, ISEAs, shipyards, Fleet personnel, Government representatives, and contractor teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior installation personnel and communicate installation status to project leadership.
- 10+ years of experience supporting Navy C4I system installation and integration.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience with shipboard installation and Navy modernization programs.
- Experience integrating communications, networking, and tactical systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting systems engineering and lifecycle processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary Government and contractor teams.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
